Mission

The Graduate Programs (Master’s) in Agricultural Sciences started from fall semester in 2020 and Doctoral Programs from the spring 2020 semester with mission to develop postgraduate education at the highest level with innovative and original training methods, to carry the trained manpower to the highest quality, continuously improving research infrastructure and knowledge with qualified faculty members, to work on various national / international R&D and technology projects, to increase financial opportunities with the aid of various domestic and international funds and resources, to train students at both masters and doctoral level in their respective field under the supervision of dynamic academicians to teach and conduct advanced research for their academic career goals and to develop new products, information and technology that will contribute to the development and economy of the country.

Vision

Our vision as a part of Sivas Science and Technology University established on the second largest geographical region of our country is to train agricultural engineers who can use and produce information, adopt lifelong learning as a principle, research, trying to improve himself/herself, cooperative, open to innovations, creative, versatile and critical thinking, contributing to the solution of problems to cope up the present and future challenges in their respective field. In addition, carrying out quality researches focused on solutions to the problems agriculture at local and national level within the sustainable agricultural system without giving any harm to the nature with aim to become an example in Turkey and respect in the World as a leading Agriculture Faculty.
